COUPLE’S WORKSHOP
Description
Workshop is split in two sessions as follows:
Session 1 Duration: 1.5 hours
This session deals with solving the mystery of a vicious cycle of conflict between a husband and wife. Some of the points presented and discussed by the instructor include the following:
- Why husband and wife fall prey to never ending arguments?
- What goes wrong in the first two years of marriage?
- Why some spouses encounter feeling of despair and hopelessness during their struggling marriage? What is the way out of this crisis?
- What is the one remedy that is in the Holy Quran for most marital conflicts?
Session 2 Duration: 1.5 hours
This session deals with practical examples from the life of Prophet (SAW) as a husband. The session will offer practical tips from Sunnah in handling everyday spousal issues. Some of the points presented and discussed by the instructor include the following:
- How did the Messenger of Allah (SAW) dealt with family issues?
- Did the Messenger of Allah (SAW) experience a different spousal relationship?
- Did the Prophet (SAW) ever dealt with jealousy, silent treatment, anger issues and much more?
PARENTING WORKSHOP
Description
Workshop is split in two sessions as follows:
Session 1 Duration: 1.5 hours
This session deals with the top 5 best and worst parenting techniques. Some of the points presented and discussed by the instructor include the following:
- Common parenting mistakes committed by parents.
- Challenges encountered between parenting a child versus a teen.
- Challenges encountered by Muslim teens in a western society.
- What makes a parenting technique works best?
- What age should parents start talking with their children about the opposite gender?
Session 2 Duration: 1.5 hours
The instructor will present parenting skills based on the Quranic injunctions. Some of the points presented and discussed by the instructor include the following:
- Lessons from Surah-e-Luqman, the amazing father-son dialogue.
- How to raise a God fearing child.
- What makes a parenting technique works best?
