Sacred Self-Love: A Path to Spiritual Growth

Intended Audience: All single and married individuals 18 years or older in age.

Duration: 2-day Course (Day 1: 4 hours, Day 2: 8 hours)

Description

A Psycho-Spiritual course taught through an Islamic Psychological lens.  This is a workshop on navigating our relationship with ourselves in a way that is rooted in our relationship with our Creator.  Through an Islamic psychological lens, we talk about how to cultivate a wholehearted, nourishing, and fulfilling relationship with ourselves in a way that promotes our spiritual growth, our relationship with our Creator, our mental and emotional well-being, and our relationship and interactions with others in our personal, professional, and community spaces.  This is an interactive course that includes lectures, discussions, exercises, and a course workbook that is provided to the students and utilized throughout the course.

Unmasking the Heart: Tackling Psychological Barriers to Spiritual Growth

Intended Audience: All single and married individuals 18 years or older in age.

Duration: 1-day Course (8 hours)

Description

This workshop provides students with a holistic view into understanding the meaning of spiritual health.  Students will explore factors that contribute to the psychological barriers we build against improving our spiritual health and relationship with God.  This course takes a deeper look into the mental and emotional factors that can keep us from fully submitting to God and positively engaging in our acts of worship.

Walking Towards God in All Conditions: Resiliency & Istiqamah on the Path to God

Description

This workshop helps students cultivate a heart and mind that views God as the Destination.  Furthermore, it equips them with the psychological & spiritual knowledge and tools that can help them navigate the various emotions, difficulties, and tests on the spiritual path!

The Sacredness of Now: Cultivating Spiritual, Mental, & Emotional Presence

Description

This workshop helps students understand how crucial presence is for our spiritual, mental, and emotional wellness. It will provide students with the knowledge and key tools they can to be more present, mindful, and attentive to the reality that God created for them in the here and now.

An Islamic Psychological Approach to Mental & Emotional Wellness

Description

This workshop provides students with an understanding of how Islam speaks to our psychology, and our mental and emotional health. It will highlight key examples from the Qur’an, sunnah, and from the works of early Islamic scholars that address our psychological wellness.

The Role of Tazkiyah in Our Psychological Health

Description

This workshop provides students with an understanding of the relationship between Tazkiyah practices and our mental and emotional health.  It will further provide insight to the powerful role our heart’s health has in ways we approach and navigate our struggles!
