This unique course is designed to introduce participants to the field of psychology through an Islam-centric perspective. Students will get a quick glimpse into the history of psychology and the impact that Islam has had on the field. Meandering through the Quran and Sunnah and the teachings of the great sages of Islam, students will learn about some of the most influential Muslim psychologists as well as the Quranic approach to understanding human nature. The course will also explore the differences between western psychology and Islamic psychology.
